I've been coming here with family for years and it's always really nice to come here, great view and a nice environment when it comes to lodging. The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is because I've seen things start to wear down over time. I know these are fast turnover units but I do think they need to make time to do maintenance on them over the years, things like replacing carpet and furniture. Overall it's always a good experience though and I'd suggest it if you're wanting a nice relaxing vacation spot.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but this place is amazing. We’ve been here many times and we continue to come back. It’s family friendly. The lake view is beautiful. The houses are great! We love it here!

I never do Google reviews but had to share. This was the best vacation for our little family! I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Watermill Cove. In fact, we rarely left the resort and spent our time enjoying the many amenities offered. There was so much to do between swimming in the pool, enjoying the lake, or playing in the park with the kiddos. The resort managers helped us feel so welcome and do an amazing job keeping the resort clean. We definitely plan on making Watermill Cove a regular vacation destination.

Had a excellent family trip up at Watermill Cove Resort. Totally able to accommodate large groups, we had 10 adults and seven children in one villa. Every adult couple had their own room. Nice pool area with boat docks a short, walk or drive and if you go in the summer they put on a pizza party for all the folks staying that week. Very impressed overall!

Please read this entire review After writing an unfavorable review prior to our stay, the owner threatened to cancel our reservation just 30 days prior to our arrival unless we removed the review. The owner called me personally, and demanded that I take the review down within 24 hours or he would cancel our reservation. The owner thinks he can intimidate his guests if they write a bad review The place is overpriced outdated, and has excessive hard water deposits in the showers.

Do not rent a boat. The boat rental went sour when we were accused of running aground when driving the boat in the middle of the lake. We were threatened that if we didn’t pay for the engine part ($3000) we would pay the legal fees regardless and they’d be higher than the engine part. They refused to pull up the GPS proof that we did not in fact run aground. It just about ruined our vacation. The property manager was great and empathized but the repair crew and boat rental is completely ridiculous. Rent a boat elsewhere.

Came here for an early fall getaway and we all had an amazing time! We had a bonfire each night and the location was perfect since it was so close to silver dollar city!! I can’t wait to come back here again!

Definitely a great environment and experience for the whole family to enjoy! Very close to Silver Dollar Amusement Park. Will definitely make a return trip.
